Come celebrate National Train Day and Historic Preservation Month at the Fulton Depot, located at 1005 E Walnut Street in Fulton, Mo. Take a walk back in time as you tour the 1911 building and explore various railroad exhibits and activities, including: The Fulton Depot historical exhibit; a digital train simulation; handcrafted model train exhibits; railroad artifacts and presentation; information and handouts provided by The Gulf Mobile & Ohio Railroad (GM&O) and The Wabash Railroad Historical Society. Patrons also can enjoy delicious food from The Smokin' Pickle food truck and shop a sidewalk sale by Homewares, the little shop by the depot. There is something for everyone – adults, children and railroad enthusiasts alike! In support of the mission to preserve The Fulton Depot, artisan macarons will be for sale for Mother's Day with all proceeds benefiting the restoration effort. Macarons are also available for pre-order online at GraeStudioDesign.com. A one day celebration on Saturday, May 13, from 10AM-2PM. Admission to the Spring Open House is free and open to the public.
