Job Description
The Callaway County Collector's office is the sole tax collection authority for Callaway County, Missouri. This office strives to provide excellent customer service and assistance to the taxpayers in our community.
The Callaway County Collectors office is accepting applications for a full-time Deputy Collector position. The starting salary for this position is $32,000 ($15.38 per hour) with a full benefits package, including free health insurance, two retirement programs, paid vacation/sick/holiday time, life insurance, etc.
The Callaway County Collector's office is located in the Historic Courthouse, 10 East 5th Street, Fulton, MO 65251. The regular work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 8:00am 4:30pm, with a half hour for lunch. However, during the busy tax season, there may be some overtime.

Responsibilities
The job duties for this position include, but are not limited to:
Answering phones and helping customers
Opening, distributing, and processing mail
Collecting and processing tax payments
Balancing cash drawers and preparing daily reports
Assisting with preparations for the annual land sale
Assisting and cooperating with other County departments
