The Recovery and Self-Motivation Program within the Nixon Forensic Center at Fulton State Hospital is looking for energetic, caring, enthusiastic individuals to join our team providing specialized services to forensic clients as a Ward Clerk. This position assists in the management and operations of three client living areas. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate compassion and an ability to work in a trauma informed and recovery-based environment.
 
 

 

• What you’ll do:
  < >Entering all doctors’ orders into the computer (i.e., treatment, diet, labs etc.)Keeping forms and supplies ordered and restockedFiling and thinning all paperworkCommunicating with guardians for notifications, consents, etc.Working with an internal computer system to transfer, admit, and discharge clientsScheduling and updating calendars with client meetings (i.e., treatment team, rewrites, etc.)
   

  Qualifications - All you need for success

   
  Minimum Qualifications:
  • Six or more months of experience in office support work
  • Possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency.
  • 15 earned credit hours from an accredited college or university may substitute for the required experience
  Preferred Qualifications
  •          Professional attitude and demeanor
  •          Reliable and consistent in attendance
  •          Experience using Microsoft Office documents (Word, Excel, etc.)
  •          Organized and efficient in completing all tasks in a timely manner
  •          Self-sufficient in performing tasks once trained
