911 DISPATCHER: Callaway County Joint Communications Center has an opening for Communications Operators. Annual starting salary is $38,000 ($18.26 per hour) with a full benefits package. After a successful training period, employees are eligible for up to $2,000 annual salary increase. Applicants will be required to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and shift-work. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent at time of hire. Must be able to type 35 wpm, handle high stress situations and be able to multi-task. Must be able to satisfactorily complete 40 hours of APCO training, 40 hours of State Law Enforcement computer training, and emergency medical dispatch training within six months of hire to retain the position.
