JCMG Awards Scholarship to Lincoln University Nursing Student

Jefferson City, MO — Jefferson City Medical Group (JCMG) is proud to recognize Lincoln University nursing student Elizabeth Heckman as the recipient of a scholarship honoring her academic excellence and dedication to healthcare.
The scholarship was presented by Sarah Cox, APRN, FNP, a Lincoln University alumna and JCMG Family Medicine provider, alongside Tamara Hopkins, MD of JCMG Oncology. Elizabeth, who plans to pursue a career in oncology, was selected for her outstanding academic performance, commitment to community service, and passion for nursing. Her application included a compelling personal essay and strong letters of recommendation from respected members of the community.
This scholarship, offered in partnership with Lincoln University, reflects JCMG’s ongoing commitment to supporting local students pursuing careers in healthcare. By investing in future nurses, JCMG aims to strengthen the region’s medical workforce and ensure high-quality care for years to come. JCMG congratulates Elizabeth Heckman and looks forward to the positive impact she will make in the field of nursing when she graduates this December.
